Grain SA and ALFA have decided to join hands and add a new expo to the agricultural calendar. The announcement comes after numerous discussions, the result of which will see these two industry giants presenting the first ever NAMPO/ALFA Livestock, Hunting and Outdoor Expo at NAMPO Park outside Bothaville next year.
The South African livestock industry is growing by the day and is an important component of the local economy. This growth is reflected in the fact that ALFA has grown into the biggest livestock expo in the country over the past four years.
ALFA spreads its wings at NAMPO Park
The logical next step would be to expand the event. With years of successes under its belt, NAMPO Park offers ALFA a space in which to spread its wings.
ALFA is not your usual expo. Since its inception, it has presented role-players in the livestock industry with a number of unique platforms and business networking opportunities. This applies to local role-players as well as stakeholders across the African continent.
Many producers have expressed the need for a centrally located hunting and outdoor expo. Livestock, outdoor activities and hunting are complementary aspects of South African farming life and the combination offers a winning recipe.

NAMPO Park facilitates growth opportunities
NAMPO Park already possesses very good systems and infrastructure, including sufficient parking, kiosks, ablution facilities, livestock facilities and additional venues. This not only enables the hosting of such an event, but also offers room for expansion and growth. To top it off, South African producers already feel at home at NAMPO Park.
A sea of opportunities await and plans for the expo will be unveiled soon. Keep an eye on the media for more information – and get ready for a great event in 2020! – Press release, Grain SA & ALFA
