India and China are to host the International Dairy Federation (IDF) summits in 2022 and 2023. India, the world’s largest milk producer, and China, the world’s third largest milk producer, will showcase their market leadership in the sector.
Dilip Rath, Chairman of the National Dairy Development Board of India, said: “Hosting the World Dairy Summit 2022 in New Delhi, India, will be a proud moment and a befitting tribute to dairy farmers.”
Kungang Song, Chair of the IDF China national committee, said: “China has developed into an important international dairy market, serving as a major engine of growth in the global dairy sector. We have a lot of experience to share at the World Dairy Summit 2023.”
The world dairy summit offers a global forum, to dairy leaders and experts, for the exchange of knowledge and ideas on supplying international markets with safe, sustainably farmed dairy products. The 2019 summit will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from 23-26 September; in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2020, and in Puerto Varas, Chile, in 2021. – Press release
