The KwaZulu-Natal agricultural union, Kwanalu, has appointed Lindelwa Ndaba to join its development desk. The Kwanalu Development Desk plays a pivotal role in sustainable agriculture in the province, facilitating the progression of effective performance and growth in numbers of profitable small-scale, communal, and land reform farmers.
“We welcome Lindelwa to the Kwanalu team and we look forward to effective and authentic development in agriculture in KwaZulu-Natal. One of the organisation’s roles is that we remain relevant and truly representative of our members and as such the development desk is an important component of ensuring we meet this objective,” said the CEO of Kwanalu, Sandy La Marque.
With her experience gleaned from, among others, the former Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the LIMA Rural Development Foundation, Lindelwa will assist members with policies and strategies affecting development in the rural and agricultural sector.
She will also be responsible for leveraging resources for skills development, and rural and agricultural growth for both members as well as the entire sector. Lindelwa will also provide support with regard to sustainable and progressive rural and agricultural development to Kwanalu’s board and all Kwanalu members. – Press release, Kwanalu
