The National Animal Health Forum (NAHF) has scheduled a pre-meeting on 13 January 2019 in Pretoria to strategise a way forward in dealing with FMD in South Africa.  This plan will be presented to the minister of agriculture, and the director of animal health, at a meeting scheduled to take place on 14 January in Pretoria.

After the meeting, the forum will communicate with farmers, the industry and trading partners on planned progression, and on current impact of the FMD outbreak.
