Venue and programme

The celebrations will take place in Bloemfontein during the Bloem Show. With Nampo 2020 having confirmed its amended dates as 11 to 14 August, the Sussex Society will still participate in the first international electronic auction of semen and embryos in the auditorium at Nampo Park. This sale will be facilitated by EXSELL International Auctions.

The 2021 celebration programme includes the following:

• The National Championship, a breeder’s braai and an ‘everything-and-more auction’ to close the day.

• Half-day conference, light lunch and afternoon Sussex Symposium, with both the conference and symposium open to the public.

• The publication of the Sussex Celebration Album (orders already open).

• A stylish gala dinner to end the celebrations.

The complete programme will be provided closer to the date.
